Job Purpose:

To plan, execute, monitor, and deliver infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, buildings, or civil works) within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications for compliance.

2. Budget and Cost Control:

  • Prepare project budgets and monitor expenditure.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage variations.
  • Approve contractor invoices and track financial progress.

3. Team Management:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and resolve on-site issues.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure all construction works meet quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities for inspections and approvals.
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures.

5. Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as the main point of contact between client, consultants, and contractors.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients.
  • Manage communication and handle change requests professionally.

6. Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve delays, conflicts, and technical challenges efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure or civil construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects (roads, utilities, drainage, or site development).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (Primavera / MS Project).

  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
