Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager or Project Engineer to lead and support mechanical construction projects from planning through execution. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and technical specifications to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanical construction projects including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and service projects
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate field activities and resolve technical issues during construction.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning and close-out processes, including punch lists and documentation.

  • Payment Applications, change Order and project controls
  • Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for management and clients.
  • Assist in resolving any issues that arise during the construction process to keep the project on track.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in mechanical construction or project engineering.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Bluebeam, MS Project).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PE license or EIT certification is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with BIM coordination and 3D modeling tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
  • Background in design-build or fast-track construction projects.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction management with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as MS Projects, Primavera and Prolog; experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform construction estimating accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
