Project Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist in site supervision for the VRF, Chillers, and Duct DX projects and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure that project delivery in alignment with the agreed scope of work and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and scope of work.
• Perform regular site inspections for all assigned projects to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Liaise with the engineering team for technical advice for significant changes in the selection process.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of completed projects in place (drawings, technical, and site inspection reports).
• Liaise with subcontractors for installation works to be performed and prepare the necessary documentation.
• Monitor the subcontractor's performance, provide feedback, and escalate any concerns to the project operations regular progress reports to the Sr. Engineer – Project Operations.
• Prepare estimate cost-based on-site inspection for presales projects.
• Follow and maintain health and safety procedures and measures, and appropriate PPE during the works on sites.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in construction, MEP, and HVAC industries.
• Good understanding of site supervision, inspection, and quality control.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design.
• Strong knowledge of Duct DX, VRF, Chillers, Package, and Split products.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• Hands-on experience using AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English, Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficient MS Office skills.
