Project Planner - Siemens Energy, Cairo Egypt

A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Project Planner at Siemens Energy, you will target detail-oriented professionals with a background in engineering and project management, particularly those passionate about optimizing maintenance activities for gas and steam turbines. You will engage in meaningful projects that enhance operational efficiency and safety, directly impacting our clients and partners while contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of sustainable energy solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Develop comprehensive outage plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Managers, and Field Service teams to align on outage requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed schedules to minimize downtime during outages.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to address unforeseen issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for planned outages.
• Prepare and present reports on outage planning and execution to management and stakeholders.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or project management in the power generation industry.
• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with proficiency in MS Office and Power BI.

About the Team:

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
