Project Quality Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field, preferably Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering. Preferably holding a Welding Engineer diploma.
• Min. 15 years of experience in managing quality and information management processes, primarily in Oil and Gas and also in Energy projects.
• Extensive knowledge and management experience in Quality Control and site inspections, mechanical, piping, welding, NDT, civil / structural & E&I related works.
• Knowledge and experience in construction materials and testing.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with electronic document management systems and project collaboration tools,
• Experience in using Quality Management & Reporting Systems (e.g. internal NCR/Punch tracking tools).
• Professional certification in auditing, such as ISO 9001 QMS Lead or Internal Auditor,
• Certification in NDT is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and planning skills with the ability to motivate team members, analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive and energetic.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure all project activities comply with the Project Contract, international standards, and ENKA Quality Management System.
• Maintain the project quality management system in line with ISO 9001 requirements.

Quality Assurance

• Promote process-based and risk-focused quality management.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities affecting quality.
• Report quality performance and improvement opportunities to Project and Corporate Quality Managers.
• Manage quality assurance and quality control processes as per the Project Quality Plan.
• Manage nonconformities and conduct periodic quality audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Share lessons learned and best practices.
• Communicate quality requirements to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain regular engagement with customers on quality performance and metrics.

Quality Control

• Manage all quality control activities, including planning and documentation.
• Verify the construction quality through inspection, examination, testing, and monitoring of work activities.
• Provide technical guidance to project team members and QC inspectors.
• Initiate and verify correction of nonconformities.
• Ensure quality inspection of permanent materials upon site receipt.
• Review and approve quality compliance of subcontractors and service contracts.
