Role Summary: The Research Fellow will support an ISRO-funded project aimed at developing an evidence-based performance assessment system for R&D professionals. The role involves conducting interviews, focus groups, and surveys, and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data. The RF will contribute to designing competency frameworks, mapping job dimensions, and preparing research reports. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in high-impact applied research at the intersection of management, research, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and focused group discussions with ISRO scientists and staff.
• Assist in developing and administering surveys across departments.
• Perform data analysis using both qualitative (e.g., thematic analysis) and quantitative (e.g., factor analysis, regression) methods.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts for academic and policy dissemination.

Key Skills

• Strong grounding in research methodology, organisational behaviour, or HRM.
• Experience with qualitative research and coding.
• Proficiency (or willingness to learn) SPSS and R for quantitative analysis.
• Good communication and writing skills for research reporting.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Degree in Management (MBA/PGDM or equivalent)
• UGC Net Qualified; JRF preferred
