Position Overview

Project Sales Engineer is responsible for driving the company’s growth in the industrial equipment, cranes, material handling, ports, and industrial automation sectors.
This role combines engineering expertise with commercial and client engagement skills to deliver tailored technical solutions, develop new business opportunities, and ensure successful project sales execution. To bridge the gap between engineering and commercial functions by providing technically sound, client-focused solutions that enhance company growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Commercial Sales

· Understand client requirements and recommend technical solutions

· Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and presentations

· Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with customers

· Work closely with OEM partners to coordinate specifications & pricing

Business Development

· Identify new opportunities in industrial, port, and engineering sectors

· Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, consultants, and EPC firms

· Track tenders, RFQs, and project inquiries

Project Sales Coordination

· Support technical compliance, tender submissions and sales planning

· Follow up on project pipeline and ensure on-time response to clients

· Collaborate with engineering, service, and supply chain teams

Market & Technical Intelligence

· Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions

· Provide feedback to management and OEMs on market needs & product positioning

· Strong technical understanding of machinery & industrial systems.

· Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.

· Analytical, customer-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.

· Ability to manage multiple inquiries and meet deadlines in fast paced environment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. Number of key accounts generated/ Maintained.

2. Number of new streams of incomes/ contracts/ services.

3. Number of right solutions proposed/ sold to meet client requirements.

4. Client satisfaction in view of the service/ solution provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
