Project / Site Engineer – Smoke Management System

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage site execution of smoke management systems (fans, ducts, dampers, control systems).
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Fire Code, NFPA, and BS standards.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and Civil Defense authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor installation quality, resolve technical/site issues, and ensure project safety standards.
• Assist in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Track project schedules, manpower, and ensure timely completion of works.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Smoke Management systems.
• Knowledge of Civil Defense submission and approval procedures is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project/site documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
