And we are looking for a passionate “Project - Specification” to join our Project team.

Job Description:

As a Specification Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide a comprehensive and detailed description of all the products, finishes, and materials used in design. You will also be responsible for analysing and interpreting highly complex engineering information and working closely with various teams.

Key Accountabilities:

• Analyse project drawings to identify areas where products can be enhanced or fitted.
• Review design concepts and materials to ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Collaborate with designers to improve product usability and design features.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance user experience.
• Recommend new product features that could improve functionality or appeal.
• Suggest improvements to existing features based on customer feedback.
• Compile data analysis and findings into reports and clearly communicate these insights to stakeholders.
• Present complex data to non-technical audiences in an understandable way.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights, findings, and recommendations.
• Ensure all recommendations are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
• Work independently while managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Clearly articulate complex technical concepts in a concise manner.

Qualifications and knowledge

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
• Preferably Female
• Bachelor Degree required
• Experience with GM specifications and demonstrated aptitude in similar roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and overall computer proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with Engineering and Program Teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage specific program responsibilities, and follow instructions, standards, and quality procedures.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Ability to understand and work with technical specifications and engineering data.
• Must be detail-oriented with the capacity to work on complex projects and tasks.
• Ability to react appropriately to urgent requests and prioritize work effectively.
