Job Description: Project Supervisor – Acoustics & Onsite Works

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Supervisor to oversee and manage acoustic projects, with a primary focus on onsite execution, coordination, and quality control. The role involves supervising installation teams, ensuring compliance with acoustic design requirements, and maintaining project timelines and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site supervision, knowledge of acoustic materials and systems, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Supervision & Coordination
• Supervise onsite works including installation of acoustic treatments, soundproofing systems, wall/ceiling absorbers, flooring systems, and other acoustic elements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and acoustic requirements.
• Quality & Compliance
• Monitor workmanship and verify compliance with acoustic performance targets (e.g., STC, NRC, IIC).
• Conduct regular site inspections and report deviations or issues to the project manager.
• Ensure proper handling and installation of acoustic materials to achieve intended performance.
• Planning & Reporting
• Assist in preparing work schedules, manpower allocation, and daily activity plans.
• Provide regular site progress reports and updates to management and clients.
• Track material deliveries, verify quantities, and maintain site inventory records.
• Health, Safety & Site Management
• Enforce site safety regulations and ensure all activities follow HSE guidelines.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and workers efficiently.
• Resolve site-related issues and escalate when necessary to management.
• Testing & Handover
• Support acoustic testing and commissioning works.
• Assist in documenting final site conditions and handover procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Acoustics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of site supervision experience (experience in acoustic works preferred).
• Strong technical understanding of acoustic systems, soundproofing, and construction finishes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and site reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage teams under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Conditions

• Based onsite across multiple project locations in the UAE.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours or weekends when required to meet project deadlines.
• Will report directly to the Project Manager / Operations Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
