Projects Manager - Mechanical Projects

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project goals.
• Develop profitable solutions, detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to effectively manage project execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and execution, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project challenges.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery to meet project schedules.
• Implement best practices in project management to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor project progress through regular status updates and adjust plans as necessary to maintain timelines and budget.
• Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, including clients and team members, to ensure transparency and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all phases of the project.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing mechanical projects in sectors like oil & gas construction, power & chemical plants.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing medium-sized project scopes and timelines effectively.
• A keen eye on all areas of project management for making projects profitable.
• Capable of executing the project within the budget
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in project execution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal forms.
• A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and ethical standards in all project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
