Projects Manager (Waterproofing)

Position: Projects Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

The Projects Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of waterproofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The role requires strong technical expertise in waterproofing systems, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders. The Projects Manager is accountable for achieving operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and compliance with the company's governance and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for multiple waterproofing projects.
• Ensure alignment of project scope with client requirements, contracts, and technical specifications.
• Monitor daily project progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Supervise installation of waterproofing systems in line with industry best practices.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and solutions to site teams and clients.
• Manage project budgets, cost controls, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor material procurement, subcontractor agreements, and site expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
• Support commercial team in preparing claims, variations, and project billing.
• Lead site engineers, supervisors, and workforce to achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and logistics to ensure smooth project operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all projects comply with company's SOPs, risk management, and governance framework.
• Submit weekly/monthly project status reports including progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice sharing across the group.

Requirements & Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's preferred.

-8-10 years of experience in project management and experience in waterproofing or specialized contracting is added advantage.

-Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, materials, and techniques.

-Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

-Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).

-High level of commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
