Projects Manager/Head of Projects

  • Role Summary

Lead the full lifecycle delivery of prefabricated and modular construction projects—from engineering coordination and procurement through factory production, logistics, site installation, and handover. Responsible for schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction, with strong focus on cash flow protection and margin control.

  • Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery (End-to-End)

Manage projects from award to final handover. Coordinate engineering, procurement, workshop, and site teams. Ensure alignment between design, material availability, and production sequencing.

Factory & Production Integration

Plan and control workshop output (containers, LGS, panels, MEP). Synchronize factory production with site readiness. Avoid bottlenecks in material flow and fabrication.

Procurement & Supply Chain

Oversee procurement of steel, PIR panels, MEP items. Control long-lead items and vendor performance. Ensure cost-effective sourcing aligned with project margins.

Site Execution

Supervise installation, crane activities, and module assembly. Ensure compliance with safety and lifting standards. Coordinate with client and subcontractors on-site.

Commercial & Contracts

Manage variations, claims, and change orders. Protect company position on payment milestones. Support negotiation of contracts and variations.

Cost Control & Cash Flow

Track project cost vs budget. Ensure billing aligns with material procurement and progress. Maintain positive project cash flow.

QA/QC & Compliance

Ensure compliance with QCS, NFPA, and project specifications. Manage inspections, approvals, and documentation.

Client Management

Act as main point of contact for clients (EPC contractors). Conduct progress meetings and reporting.

  • Requirements

Experience

10–18 years total experience. Minimum 5 years in prefabrication, modular construction, or steel structures. GCC experience required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of steel structures, LGS systems, container modifications, MEP coordination, and workshop fabrication processes.

Core Competencies

Strong commercial awareness, project planning and execution, negotiation and claim management, leadership and cross-functional coordination.
