Job Title: Project PMC & Planning Head – Township Projects

Location: Mumbai (Dadar)
Company: Della Townships

Role Overview:

The Project PMC & Planning Head will lead the planning, coordination, and execution oversight of Della’s luxury township developments. This role combines the strategic functions of project planning, monitoring, and control with the execution oversight of PMC, ensuring that all projects are delivered with excellence in design, quality, cost, and timelines.

The position acts as a key interface between the developer, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, driving project delivery from conception to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Control
  • Develop detailed project execution plans, construction schedules, and resource plans for all township projects.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, integrating design, procurement, and execution phases.
  • Monitor project progress using MS Project/Primavera, highlighting deviations and ensuring timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams for technical reviews and design intent validation.
  • Develop and track cost plans, budgets, and cash flows in collaboration with the Contracts & Procurement team.
2. PMC & Project Execution Oversight
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of township projects, ensuring delivery as per Della’s luxury standards and specifications.
  • Manage multiple consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance norms.
  • Conduct regular site reviews, quality checks, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractor performance, work progress, billing verification, and project documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, delays, or bottlenecks in project execution.
  • Support pre-construction planning, tendering, and value engineering exercises.
3. Coordination & Reporting
  • Act as a central coordination point between design, execution, finance, and top management.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports, progress dashboards, and executive summaries for management review.
  • Ensure timely approvals, authority clearances, and adherence to statutory norms.
4. Leadership & Strategic Inputs
  • Lead and mentor planning engineers and PMC team members across projects.
  • Provide strategic input on construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process standardization across projects.

Job Expectations:

Experience:

  • Proven track record of handling projects in Mumbai or major metros.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (MS Project/Primavera), construction sequencing, and cost control systems.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Project Management preferred).

Minimum Job Experience:

Minimum 18+ years of experience in Project Planning and PMC roles, with exposure to luxury townships, high-rise, and mixed-use developments.
