The Opportunity

Currently, we are looking to hire proof reader in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a full time employee for technical proofreading and technical field support

Location: Saudi Arabia

Position Overview: As a Technical Proofreader, you will be an integral part of our quality assurance team, ensuring that technical documents meet the highest standards of accuracy and clarity. Reporting directly to Job Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our inspection reports and other technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proofreading and Editing: Collaborate closely with operations department including inspectors to proofread and edit technical documents, reports, and other written materials to ensure accuracy, coherence, and adherence to company standards.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of inspection reports, ensuring that technical content is precise, consistent, and free from grammatical errors.
• Technical Expertise: Possess knowledge and experience in lifting gear and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections, providing a solid foundation for understanding and accurately proofreading technical content in these domains.
• Style Guide Adherence: Follow and enforce company-specific style guides, ensuring uniformity in documentation across projects.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with technical teams and subject matter experts to clarify technical concepts and improve overall document quality.
• Global Support: Provide proofreading support for projects worldwide, with a primary focus on the Middle East. Be flexible to support other regions as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the proofreading and quality assurance workflow and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency.
• Training and Development: Stay updated on industry standards, technical terminology, and company-specific guidelines. Participate in training sessions to continuously enhance proofreading skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field. Having LEEA and NDT qualification will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in technical proofreading, editing, or quality assurance.
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors in technical content.
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other proofreading tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
