Proofreading, drafting and translation consultant ( AR/EN)

Job Responsiblites

1. Proofreading and Legal Review: Reviewing legal documents for grammatical, spelling,
and linguistic accuracy, and ensuring clarity and precision in the wording.
2. Improving Legal Drafting: Providing accurate translations of legal documents from Arabic
to English and vice versa, while ensuring the preservation of legal meaning and context.
3. Standardizing Legal Terminology: Developing a unified legal terminology guide to ensure
consistency in the drafting of all documents.
4. Reviewing Contracts and Agreements: Auditing contracts and legal documents to ensure
their accuracy and freedom from linguistic or legal errors.
5. Analyzing Legal Documents: Providing feedback and recommendations to improve the
linguistic and legal content of documents.
6. Training and Capacity Building: Conducting workshops for the team on best practices in
legal drafting and translation.

Skills & Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or English/Arabic Language or similar in the relevant field.

Minimum of 5 Years of experience in the same field.


1. Advanced Legal Drafting Skills
Ability to draft, review, and refine legal documents with clarity, precision, and proper structure.

2. Bilingual Legal Translation (Arabic English)
Strong command of legal terminology in both languages, ensuring accurate translation while preserving legal meaning and context.

3. Legal Terminology Expertise
In-depth knowledge of standardized legal terminology and the ability to maintain consistency across documents.

4. Contract Review & Analysis
Capability to identify linguistic ambiguities, legal risks, inconsistencies, and compliance gaps in contracts and agreements.

5. Legal Research Skills
Ability to conduct legal research to verify terminology, references, and applicable regulations.
