acquisitions, construction, and property management.
The Role
We need a Property Management Accountant for Las Vegas. We need someone with prior property management experience. This role is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of our commercial and industrial properties, including accounts payable/receivable, CAM reconciliations, lease administration, tenant billing, and monthly financial reporting. You will work closely with ownership, property managers, and third-party vendors to keep our portfolio running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable across multiple commercial/industrial properties
- Prepare and distribute monthly tenant billing statements, including NNN charges and CAM reconciliations
- Process rent collections, track delinquencies, and coordinate with property managers on follow-ups
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger entries via Yardi
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership review
- Assist with annual operating expense budgets and reforecasts
- Coordinate with CPA and tax advisors on year-end reporting and audit support
- Maintain lease abstracts and track critical dates (expirations, rent escalations, option deadlines)
- Support construction draw requests and vendor payment processing
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in commercial property management accounting (industrial/flex is a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of NNN leases, CAM reconciliations, and tenant billing
- Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi experience required)
- Proficiency with Excel
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
- Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred but not required with relevant experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
