Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Housing (Full-Time)
Hartford County, CT
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle repairs and unit turns across multiple multifamily buildings throughout Hartford County. This is a full-time, field-based role for someone who knows apartment maintenance and can work independently.
This role is NOT entry-level.
REQUIREMENTS (Please read carefully)
- 2+ years of apartment or multifamily maintenance experience required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable car required
- Must own and use personal hand tools
- Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps for work orders and communication
- Ability to work independently across multiple properties
- Comfortable with physical work and daily travel
What You’ll Do
- Handle daily maintenance requests and repairs
- Plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
- Apartment turnovers and minor renovations
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Communicate clearly with management on job status
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Section 8 or subsidized housing experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
