Property Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Class A properties in Rapid City, SD.

THE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IS PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING:

• General/preventive maintenance
• Repairs on all physical structures and certain facility equipment.
• Grounds maintenance
• Compliance with established safety rules, policies and procedures.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED:

• Painting apartments
• Completion of daily assigned work orders
• Maintain inventory levels
• Trained in maintenance of swimming pools and spas
• Maintenance is "on call" for a week at a time on a 24 hour basis. The schedule is on a rotating basis between other maintenance staff as assigned.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

• Plumbing
• Drywall
• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Curb appeal of property, buildings, and common areas
