Property Maintenance Technician

Position to be filled in the areas of Augusta, Newport, and Heber Springs AR with potential opportunities in other parts of the state.

We are looking to hire a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to be a part of PDC Companies that will perform maintenance at our managed properties in the Augusta, Newport, and Heber Springs, AR areas. Position requires maintenance technician to travel to multiple properties and be on-call to service after-hours emergency maintenance when necessary. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Key duties include:

· Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents which includes painting, general repairs, etc.

· Flooring installation

· Completing work orders in a timely manner

· Performing preventative maintenance

· HVAC troubleshooting and repairs

· Electrical troubleshooting and repairs

· Lock installation and repairs

· Maintaining property grounds and common areas

· Minor plumbing and carpentry

· Appliance installation and repairs

· On call for emergency calls after hours

· Other duties as assigned/needed

Desired Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· EPA Certification and/or HVAC license

· Valid driver’s license

· General maintenance experience

· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry

· Willing to be on-call

· Must pass background check and be able to be bonded
