Property Management Assistant (Career Path to Licensed Property Manager)

Nations Management Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our team, with a clear path to becoming a licensed Property Manager within one year.

This includes obtaining your Alaska Real Estate License, and we provide hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience to support your growth.

Position Overview:
The Property Management Assistant supports daily operations while learning all aspects of residential property management, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and compliance.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organizational skills, communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Property Managers with daily tasks and communication
• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
• Communicate with tenants, property owners, and vendors
• Support leasing activities, showings, and applicant processing
• Maintain accurate records and follow internal procedures
• Expedite notices and perform vacant property inspections
• Train toward independently managing a portfolio

Compensation:

• Starting at $16.50/hour or higher depending on experience
• Wage increase after 60-day performance review
• Additional increases as training progresses and licensing is achieved
• Higher starting pay for licensed applicants

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Interest in obtaining an Alaska Real Estate License within 12 months
• Valid drivers license, insurance, and reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Administrative, customer service, or real estate experience
• Active Alaska Real Estate License (not necessary)
