Property Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our luxury condos and cooperative properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, with a focus on customer service and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a thorough understanding of Cooperatives and Condominiums.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of property operations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of co-op and condo buildings
• Serve as liaison between boards, residents, and vendors
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects
• Assist with preparing budgets and manage financial reports
• Attend board meetings and ensure compliance with governing documents and local regulations
• Handle resident communications and resolve issues efficiently
• Utilize property management software such as Yardi.
• Handle owner's inquiries and resolve conflicts efficiently while maintaining positive relationships.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing co-op and condo properties
• Strong knowledge of NYC housing laws, HPD/DOB regulations (if in NYC)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
• Familiarity with property management software is a plus
• Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with boards and vendors.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
