As a Property Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of single-family homes and lead a team of support staff. Candidates must hold an active Colorado Real Estate License in good standing and have at least one year of experience managing single-family homes.
The selected candidate is self-driven, highly accountable, and able to balance competing priorities with ease. Strong attention to detail, quick critical thinking, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, constantly shifting environment are essential; this role requires exceptional multitasking skills and a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
COMPENSATION
$55,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience; plus mileage
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of single-family homes, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Maintain a high level of owner and tenant satisfaction.
- Maintain the client’s asset to the highest standard of care to maximize ROI.
- Conduct inspections, accurately report findings, and take action, as needed.
- Conduct market research and analysis to set competitive rental rates.
- Draft and execute lease agreements and rental contracts.
- Consistently meet or exceed team KPIs.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture within your pod.
- Lead, mentor, and support team members to achieve pod success.
- Engage in professional growth through industry symposiums, classes, and continuing education.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws governing Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other laws pertaining to real estate or leased properties.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods
- Frequently climb stairs and enter or exit a vehicle multiple times daily
- Must travel throughout El Paso County in a personally insured vehicle, including during adverse weather conditions
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Colorado Real Estate License in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year experience managing a single-family home portfolio
- Proven ability to adapt, shift focus, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Technologically proficient with strong competency in industry programs and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Dedicated office computer (laptop or desktop only; tablets not permitted) with a reliable internet connection.
- Comfortable working from a dedicated home office environment free from external interruptions. This is a full-time professional role requiring complete focus during working hours.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date auto insurance; must have access to a rental vehicle if personal vehicle becomes unavailable
