Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Oversee property leasing processes, including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease agreements with attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other relevant legal standards.
  • Utilize Appfolio property management software to maintain accurate data entry, financial records, and reporting documentation.
  • Handle landlord-tenant law issues, conflict management, and legal administrative tasks with transparency and professionalism.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to uphold safety standards and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections, manage contracts with vendors, and oversee property upkeep using.
  • Foster positive customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, personalized service, upselling amenities or services when appropriate, and resolving concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties.
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing assistance, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law.
  • Proficiency in general office software for data entry, filing, and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle tenant inquiries effectively.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract management.
  • Office experience that includes phone etiquette, filing systems, data entry accuracy, and administrative support functions.
  • Ability to manage property leasing activities while upselling amenities or services to enhance resident retention.
  • Facilities management knowledge to coordinate property maintenance efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
