Duties
- Manage all aspects of leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements to optimize occupancy.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws.
- Utilize property management software such as Appfolio to perform data entry, track leasing metrics, generate reports, and maintain accurate resident records.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests.
- Conduct legal administrative tasks including reviewing contracts, managing lease documents, and maintaining filing systems for legal compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette, conflict management skills, and personalized communication to build strong resident relationships.
- Oversee office operations including filing, data entry, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily workflows.
- Manage landlord-tenant interactions by resolving disputes professionally and ensuring adherence to lease agreements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of property leasing processes.
- Proficiency in property management software Appfolio.
- Excellent customer service skills paired with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing systems, and legal documentation handling.
- Office experience including phone etiquette, administrative support functions, and customer relationship management tools.
