Property Payment Operations Internship

The Team
We are seeking an Intern to join American Tower's Real Estate Management, Property Payment Operations (PPO) team. The PPO team adds value to the customer experience through ensuring data is current and accurate as well as resolving any payment concerns. Day to day you will assist our team with responsibilities aimed at enhancing the customer experience and identifying the optimization of internal processes. As an Intern with the PPO team, you will support our programs, teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners by processing ownership changes, researching payment discrepancies, processing owner reimbursement, job shadowing, and much more.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • An interest in the wireless tower industry, real estate, finance, or law.
  • Strong organizational skills and a willingness to manage tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • An ability to participate in professional meetings with employees at multiple levels.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently within the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic Excel functions; Salesforce and Oracle skills are a bonus.

What You Can Offer Us
  • Perform assessment of contractual agreements and their impact on financial inquiries.
  • Review data sources confirm current owner of record/chain of title and perform legal ownership change process.
  • Research and validate external requests for reimbursement under contract provisions and prior payment history.
  • Assist with projects that capture lost revenue and provide expense savings for the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
