Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal condition, contributing to the overall safety and functionality of our operations.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery and systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
• Operate Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
• Conduct electrical repairs and installations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Execute residential painting tasks, maintaining aesthetic quality throughout facilities.
• Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or upgrades.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
• Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience with residential painting techniques is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
