Join Our Team as a Property Runner & Maintenance Support!

Bayou City Luxe is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Property Runner & Maintenance Support to assist in the daily upkeep of multiple rental properties. This part-time role plays a crucial part in supporting both our cleaning and maintenance teams by handling trash management, laundry services, supply restocking, and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with light work orders and general property upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

Trash Pickup & Property Inspections:

• Track and manage residential trash schedules for assigned properties.
• Move trash bins to the curb and return them after collection.
• Conduct exterior property checks for maintenance needs, lawn care, or damages, and report issues to management.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-maintained.

Laundry & Supply Management:

• Pick up and transport laundry to a laundromat for washing, folding, and returning to properties.
• Ensure timely laundry handling to meet guest check-in deadlines.
• Restock essential property supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, etc.) and notify management when inventory is low.

Light Maintenance Support:

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with minor repairs and maintenance tasks that do not require certification (e.g., replacing air filters, changing light bulbs, minor touch-ups).
• Perform basic handyman tasks as needed to help maintain property standards.
• Report maintenance concerns requiring professional attention.

General Errands & Assistance:

• Deliver tenant notices, pick up and drop off packages, and assist with other property-related errands.
• Support cleaning staff with essential supplies and last-minute needs.

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. (A truck is preferred but not mandatory.)
• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or light maintenance is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple properties and tasks.
• Must be able to lift and move moderately heavy items such as trash bins and laundry.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time: Typically 10 AM to 4 PM ( Some Weekends required).
• $15 per hour, paid weekly.
• Additional hours may be available based on performance and property needs.
