Proposal Engineer

· Responsibilities

- Responsible for reviewing tender requirements, proposing water and wastewater treatment solutions (Filtration,

UF, RO, EDI, TS, HRSCC, MBBR, MBR), preparing cost-effective proposals, and coordinating quotations with vendors and subcontractors

- Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for water treatment plant projects.

- Review and interpret client specifications and requirements.

- Coordinate with internal engineering teams (Process, Mechanical, E&I) to ensure accurate technical support and

documentation

- Collaborate with sales and project management teams.

- Present proposals to clients and follow up on feedback.

- Maintain and update proposal documentation and archives.

- Review customer requirements or tender specifications and prepare suitable process designs;

- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on project needs

- Engage with vendors to explore new technologies and apply them effectively to customer applications

- Communicate with customers for technical clarifications and prepare cost-effective commercial and technical

proposals

- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to align design and costing strategies for competitive

Bidding

• Qualifications:

- B.E / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
