Job Title: Proposal / Estimation Engineer – Switchgear Sector

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Proposal / Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical and commercial proposals by analyzing RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents within the switchgear industry.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Development

• Review RFQs, tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, pricing sheets, and offer breakdowns.
• Assist in developing technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements.
• Draft compliance/deviation statements, clarifications, and supporting bid documents.
• Coordinate with senior team members for proposal finalization and approvals.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, procurement, design, and sales teams for proposal inputs.
• Maintain proposal records, costing sheets, and supporting documentation.
• Support management with summary reports, approval notes, and presentations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the proposal department.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. Electrical Engineering / B.Tech Electrical / BS Tech Electrical
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in proposals/estimation within the switchgear sector
• Age Limit: 24–35 years

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and technical abilities
• Good understanding of power systems and switchgear
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Should possess knowledge of AI relevant to the designated work.
