Focus Humanitarian Assistance Pakistan is seeking a dynamic and committed Protection & Inclusion Officer to strengthen protection mainstreaming, inclusion, and accountability across all humanitarian and resilience programmes.
The position will ensure that protection principles — including dignity, safety, non-discrimination, and meaningful participation — are fully integrated into emergency response, shelter, disaster risk reduction, and community resilience initiatives. The role focuses on safeguarding affected communities and promoting inclusive programming for women, children, persons with disabilities, elderly individuals, and other at-risk groups.
This role offers an opportunity to shape protection-sensitive programming in shelter, DRR, and humanitarian response initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Protection Mainstreaming-
Integrate protection principles into programme design, implementation, and monitoring.

Review proposals, log-frames, and field plans to identify and mitigate protection risks.

Ensure “Do No Harm” and safe programming approaches across all interventions.

Support safe site planning for shelters, distributions, and temporary settlements.
Inclusion & Equity
- Promote gender-responsive, disability-inclusive, and socially inclusive programming.

Ensure equitable access to services for vulnerable and marginalized groups.

Support participatory approaches that strengthen community voice and representation.
Accountability to Affected Populations
- Strengthen community feedback and complaint response mechanisms.

Ensure communities are informed of their rights, entitlements, and reporting pathways.

Monitor and improve the effectiveness of accountability systems.
Safeguarding & Community Safety-
Support implementation of safeguarding and PSEA measures within programme activities.

Conduct protection risk assessments in field locations.

Coordinate safe referrals in line with national protection frameworks.
Capacity Building & Coordination-
Deliver training to staff and partners on protection, inclusion, safeguarding, and AAP.

Develop practical tools and guidance notes for field teams.

Represent the organization in protection and inclusion coordination forums.
Monitoring & Reporting-
Track protection and inclusion indicators.

Contribute to internal and donor reporting.

Document lessons learned and best practices.
