Role Overview:
The incumbent will own the complete lifecycle of Provident Fund (PF) accounting, compliance, and reporting. This includes ensuring regulatory adherence, maintaining accurate financial records, and coordinating across HR, payroll, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless PF operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end PF accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Validate monthly payroll deductions and ensure timely deposit of PF contributions.

Prepare and maintain PF schedules, reconciliations, and periodic reports.

Oversee PF trust accounts, including tracking of balances, documentation, and investments (if applicable).

Ensure compliance with Pakistan labour laws, Companies Act, and PF regulatory requirements.

Handle employee-related PF transactions including withdrawals, transfers, and final settlements.

Coordinate with internal/external auditors for PF audits and documentation.

Liaise with banks, trustees, and regulatory bodies for all PF-related matters.

Support financial reporting, including disclosures related to employee benefit funds.

Address employee queries related to PF in coordination with HR and payroll teams.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Experience Requirements

Minimum:
3 years of relevant experience

Preferred:
4+ years in PF, payroll accounting, or employee benefits accounting
Education

Minimum:
BBA / BSc in Finance & Accounting / ACCA (Part Qualified) / CMA (Part Qualified)
