Job Title: PRT Computer ScienceJob Summary:

The PRT Computer Science Teacher is responsible for teaching basic computer concepts and digital skills to students from Classes 1 to 5, ensuring safe, engaging, and age-appropriate use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach fundamentals of computer awareness and digital literacy
• Introduce students to hardware, software, and basic operations
• Teach MS Paint, MS Word, basic PowerPoint, and typing skills
• Explain basic concepts of internet usage, email, and cyber safety
• Conduct practical classes in the computer lab
• Prepare lesson plans and simple assessments
• Maintain computer lab discipline and safety
• Coordinate with school IT staff for lab maintenance
• Encourage logical thinking and creativity through activities
• Maintain students’ progress records and lab registers

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications
• BCA / B.Sc (CS) / Diploma in Computers preferred
• B.Ed / D.El.Ed preferred (as per CBSE norms)

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of basic computer applications
• Good communication skills and child-friendly teaching approach
• Classroom and lab management skills
• Patience and ability to teach beginners
• Basic troubleshooting skills

Experience:

• Freshers may apply
• Prior experience teaching primary classes preferred

Work Timings:

• As per school schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
