Job Title: Primary Teacher (PRT) – Computer Science

Reports To: Head of Department / Principal
Job Summary:
The PRT Computer Science Teacher is responsible for introducing computer fundamentals and basic digital skills to primary school students, fostering curiosity, logical thinking, and responsible use of technology in a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Computer Science lessons for primary classes as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach basic computer concepts including parts of a computer, keyboard skills, operating systems, and simple software applications.
- Introduce students to basic coding concepts, logical reasoning, and digital literacy (as applicable).
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab and ensure safe and effective use of systems.
- Develop worksheets, activities, and interactive learning materials suitable for young learners.
- Assess students’ understanding through assignments, practical tasks, and observations.
- Encourage responsible digital behavior, cyber safety, and ethical use of technology.
- Maintain discipline and a supportive classroom environment.
- Coordinate with class teachers to integrate technology into classroom learning.
- Maintain computer lab discipline and report technical issues when required.
- Participate in school meetings, training programs, and co-curricular activities.
- Take up additional responsibilities as assigned by the school management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications
- B.Ed / D.Ed / TTC (as applicable and preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred
- Freshers with good subject knowledge and child-handling skills may be considered
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic programming knowledge and computer application skills.
- Ability to teach concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Familiarity with educational software and digital teaching tools.
- Strong classroom management and child-friendly approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
