Role Summary
The PRT Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language to students of Primary Grades (1–5). The teacher should create an engaging, joyful, and student-friendly environment that helps young learners develop strong foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding Hindi.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Teach Hindi language basics, including letters, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and learning materials.
- Use engaging and interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, rhymes, role play, and visual aids.
- Support early literacy development through phonics, picture reading, and simple sentences.
- Regularly assess student performance and maintain progress records.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Promote good behaviour, discipline, and social skills among young learners.
- Ensure active participation of all students during lessons.
Assessment & Documentation
- Prepare classwork, homework, and assessment materials.
- Conduct periodic tests and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain student portfolios and academic records.
Student Development
- Encourage students to develop reading habits and participate in language-related activities.
- Identify learning difficulties and provide additional support where needed.
- Help students build confidence in Hindi speaking and comprehension.
Collaboration & Professional Duties
- Work collaboratively with other primary teachers and coordinators.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, competitions, and parent–teacher meetings.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and orientation programs.
- Follow all school policies, safety guidelines, and child protection norms.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as a core or elective subject.
- D.El.Ed / JBT / B.El.Ed or equivalent primary teaching qualification (mandatory).
- Strong command over spoken and written Hindi.
- Basic knowledge of English for communication.
- Good classroom management and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools (smart board, audio-visual aids, etc.) preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
