PRT Mathematics Teacher (Female)

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled PRT Mathematics Teacher to teach foundational Maths concepts to Primary Classes (I–V) and ensure strong numeracy skills in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Classroom Delivery

• Teach Mathematics to Classes I–V following CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
• Use activity-based, interactive, and child-friendly teaching methods.
• Introduce concepts such as numbers, operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, patterns, and basic word problems.
• Prepare classwork, homework, worksheets, and regular assessments.

2. Lesson Planning & Academic Preparation

• Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with primary learning objectives.
• Use teaching aids, manipulatives, math kits, and digital tools for better understanding.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students who need extra help.

3. Student Engagement & Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive, joyful, and disciplined learning environment.
• Encourage conceptual clarity, logical thinking, and interest in Mathematics.
• Develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and mental math skills.

4. Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct periodic assessments, worksheets, quizzes, and activity-based evaluations.
• Maintain student performance records and share regular feedback with parents.
• Assist students in preparing for internal competitions and Math activities.

5. School Activities & Responsibilities

• Participate in assemblies, celebrations, academic events, PTMs, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with other primary teachers and coordinators for academic planning.
• Support the school’s mission of holistic development of students.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Graduate with Mathematics as a subject + D.El.Ed / B.Ed (as per CBSE norms).
• Experience teaching Mathematics at primary level preferred.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and primary pedagogy.
• Ability to design engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.

• Excellent communication and explanation skills.
• Patience, empathy, and ability to handle young children.
• Creative use of teaching aids and interactive tools.
• Strong classroom management and ability to keep students engaged.
• Passion for teaching foundational Maths.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
