Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – In-Person
Location: Dayton, Ohio

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our mental health and substance use treatment facility. This is a fully in-person role working within a residential level of care, providing comprehensive psychiatric services to support patient stabilization and recovery.

The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, highly skilled in assessment and diagnosis, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening
Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years psychiatric experience required
DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including interviews, observations, and medical history reviews
Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring effectiveness and side effects
Collaborate closely with Medical Director and interdisciplinary team
Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed
Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately and timely in the EMR

Provide patient education, emotional support, and coping strategies
Stay current with best practices and advancements in psychiatry

Experience in residential, inpatient, or substance use settings preferred

Pay: $400.00 - $450.00 per day
