Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric and psychological assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including CBT, counseling, or psychotherapy.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health support when needed.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Psychiatric Therapy, or related field.
- Valid QCHP License (mandatory).
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in psychiatric or mental health settings.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CBT or other structured therapy modalities.
- Hospital, clinic, or community mental health experience.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of Qatar healthcare standards and policies.
