COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRY AT JANIAN

Janian Medical Care, P.C., is seeking a BE/BC psychiatric fellow for a full-time, one-year position.

The psychiatric fellow is an integrated member of the multidisciplinary team who works to:

• Identify and engage people in need of psychiatric evaluation and treatment
• Provide psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy
• Support recovery goals
• Advocate for patients
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings with other providers
• Implement population health interventions
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and provide psychiatric evaluations
• Develop and deliver trainings

• Board Certified or Board Eligible provider (physician) in good standing, licensed to practice medicine in New York State, with training in psychiatry.
• Committed to servant leadership principles and person-centered care.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience supervising clinicians preferred
• Expressed plan to attend psychiatric fellowship training
