They are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team and provide crisis intervention, acute psychiatric care, and recovery support for individuals facing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving vulnerable populations and working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and recovery-focused care.
• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with best practices and patient needs.
• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic treatment.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all clinical regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Active PMHNP license in New York.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in psychiatric care, crisis treatment, or related field. (New graduates encouraged to apply if applicable.)
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
