Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments utilizing advanced clinical skills and physiological knowledge.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology and therapy.
• Manage medication administration, including injections and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like ICANOTE for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
• Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with valid licensure in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated experience in behavioral health.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as ICANOTE is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, medication management, and medical documentation standards.
• Experience working with diverse populations including children and geriatrics.
• Skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.

Pay: $114,094.89 - $137,404.61 per year
