Position: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Type: W-2, Hourly, Part-Time

Hours: 5-15+ hours weekly (depending on patient demand)

Compensation: $65-85/hour + PTO

Must live in the Seattle area and be available to see patients in-office at least one day weekly.

We’re looking for a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Seattle-based private practice as an hourly, part-time, W-2 employee. You’ll be working alongside our team of exceptional PMHNPs to deliver truly one-of-a-kind patient care, with the convenience of marketing, patient referrals, billing, scheduling, and more handled for you.

The successful candidate is confident in managing their own caseload, documentation, and clinical decision-making with minimal oversight. This position is ideal for a clinician who wants flexibility, professional autonomy, and the support of an established practice handling the administrative and marketing side of private practice.

Hours will start part-time at about 5-10 hours per week and steadily ramp up as patient cases are added. Most patient care is telehealth with at least one day weekly in-office. Must be local to the Seattle area and hold ready-to-go Washington DEA, ARNP, and RN licenses.

You Are

• A confident, emotionally intelligent, and passionate PMHNP-BC
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in an independent environment
• Living in the Seattle area
• Fully licensed already (including DEA certification)

Responsibilities

• Provide stellar, warm, and highly effective clinical care
• Conduct thoughtful psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments for patients ages 6+
• Refer to and interpret internal ADHD and genetic testing reports
• Maintain timely and accurate notes in our EHR IntakeQ
• Collaborate with the Edwards Psychiatry team on patient care and practice growth
• Monitor your patient inbox and reply to inquiries in a timely and compassionate manner
• Provide clinical coverage when other providers are out (and vice versa)
• Triage and respond to refill requests according to your clinical judgment
• Assist with prior authorizations and other tasks requiring clinical input

• Expertise and passion in ADHD diagnosis and treatment (children, teens, + adults)
• Ability to see patients in-person in Seattle at least once weekly
• Active and unrestricted Washington ARNP, RN, DEA, PMHPN-BC, and NPI
