Position Overview:
We are seeking a confident, experienced, and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable managing their own caseload independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with advanced treatment modalities in a modern outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an independent patient caseload in an outpatient setting
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
• Participate in and/or oversee advanced treatments including Spravato and TMS
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative team members

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Current DEA license and prescriptive authority
• Experience managing an independent caseload preferred
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric or behavioral health settings
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• Experience with Spravato (esketamine) administration and monitoring
• Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
