Employment Type: Part-Time to Full-Time (Flexible Hours)

Compensation: 1099 contractor, our providers are compensated as self employed 1099 contractors based on a percentage per visit. Percentage is based on experience.

While we specialize in the collaborative treatment of Eating Disorders, we provide mental health care for all presenting concerns. Our team includes an APRN, therapists, dietitian, and support staff who work together to create a supportive and flexible environment for both clients and providers. Position OverviewWe are seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our group practice. This role is ideal for a provider looking for flexible scheduling and a balance of autonomy and support in private practice. You will deliver psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management services to clients both pediatric and adult.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders)
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including monitoring for efficacy and side effects
  • Collaborate with therapists and other providers within the practice to coordinate care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Provide patient education and support shared decision-making

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with psychiatric/mental health specialization
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska
  • Board certification as a PMHNP-BC
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
  • Experience with eating disorders
  • Comfort with telehealth and hybrid care delivery
  • Interest in collaborative care models
