Careplus Psychiatric Services is urgently hiring a motivated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our remote private practice team. The ideal candidate is confident in both medication management and therapy visits, thrives in a telehealth setting, and is excited by the independence and flexibility of a 1099 contract with percentage-based pay.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments via telehealth
- Provide ongoing medication management and evidence-based treatment plans for patients across the lifespan
- Deliver psychotherapy/therapy sessions independently with strong clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic charting and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with internal clinical leadership for case consultation, supervision, and mentorship as needed
- Coordinate patient care with support staff to ensure smooth scheduling, billing, and follow-up workflows
- Uphold current professional, ethical, and legal standards in psychiatric practice
- Participate in ongoing professional development and remain current with advances in psychiatric treatment modalities
Qualifications
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) in New Mexico, New York, Washington State, Oregon, with a DEA license, are required to apply.
- DEA certificate
- Master’s degree and graduation from an accredited PMHNP program
- Comfortable working remotely and confident performing both medication management and therapy visits
- Able to commit to a full-time, two-year 1099 contract with percentage-based compensation and competitive income potential
- New graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
