Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

DFWPMA is hiring for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ( BC-PMHNP)

• Provide Initial and Ongoing Psychiatric Evaluation to patients ages 4 through Geriatric
• Attend clinical meetings
• Participate in department training
• Following strict ethical and clinical guidelines
• Patient-first mentality
• Must be located in the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN licensed in the state where employed and board-certified by either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• APN authorization in the state where employed to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Active DEA- (or application in process)
• Sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• Strong communication, patient/customer care, and leadership skills
• Team player coupled wit the ability to organize and time-manage
• Desire to work with diverse populations
• Bilingual is a plus

Position Type & Schedule

Type: Regular full-time

Hours: Operating hours are Monday- Friday 8 AM-5pm.

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $185,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FTO, and company holidays to name a few. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
