Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing Nurse practitioner led outpatient psychiatry practice in a part-time, 1099 hybrid role (telehealth + in-person). This position is ideal for an autonomous psychiatric nurse practitioner experienced in psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations who is passionate about patient-centered, integrative mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for a diverse outpatient mental health population
• Provide medication management and supportive therapy utilizing evidence-based psychopharmacology practices
• Develop and implement individualized, patient-centered, whole-person treatment plans
• Collaborate within a collaborative care model alongside therapists, primary care providers (PCPs), and wellness team members
• Provide care via telehealth psychiatry and in-person visits in a hybrid setting
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in an outpatient psychiatry setting

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license
• Current DEA license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient psychiatry / behavioral health preferred
• Strong foundation in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychopharmacology
• Experience providing telehealth mental health services preferred
• Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 Nurse Practitioner while contributing to a collaborative, team-based environment
• Candidates who already have an established collaborating psychiatrist or physician will receive priority consideration for immediate hire
