Psychiatrist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effects, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention when appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, primary care physicians, and other health professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in case reviews, departmental meetings, and continuous medical education.
