Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist/PMHNP to join our team on a part time basis. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care for patients. This includes conducting patient assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions and medication management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adults as well as be knowledgeable in various therapeutic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment utilizing clinical guidelines as appropriate
• Complete comprehensive psychosocial evaluations
• Provide clear, comprehensive documentation consistent with professional standards and ALHW procedures
• Obtain informed consent and prescribe psychotropic medication as indicated
• Follow practice guidelines issued by the American Psychiatric Association and other professional organizations relevant to the individual’s treatment
• Participate in crisis assessments and make necessary treatment recommendations
• Maintain ethical standards at all times

Qualifications

• Completion of MD or DO degree in Psychiatry
• Licensed in PA
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
• Board certified from American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Interested in a part-time position
• Malpractice Insurance
