Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health care, with experience in various psychiatric practices. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in telehealth services to reach patients who may benefit from remote consultations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care within inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in data collection for ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry.
- Post-residency experience preferred, particularly in behavioral health settings.
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
- Experience working in hospital environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with geriatric psychiatry is a plus; experience with children is also a plus.
- Ability to perform intake assessments and provide mental health counseling effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Pay: $200.00 - $400.00 per hour
